Our work with Adidas exemplifies our multidisciplinary approach. In 2008, we won adidas’ trust without a pitch to produce the brand’s definitive history book. We proposed a radical `shoebox`design, in which multiple archive photos on variously sized pages simulated the act of leafing through old snaps in a shoebox. The three-year production process also incorporated interviews with legendary Adidas ambassadors and collaborators including Franz Beckenbauer, Steffi Graf, David Beckham, and Stella McCartney. The book is now a major reference point for Adidas’ employees worldwide. More recently, we devised and developed a `Creators Unite´multi-platform campaign (a photo-installation backdrop for a managers’ meeting at Adidas’ Herzo HQ, a limited-edition magazine, a responsive smartphone site) featuring eight female leaders in their chosen fields, including singer Dua Lipa and cliff diver Anna Bader, who personify Adidas’ inspirational credo.
